I've been a staff photographer at the St. Paul Pioneer Press for 35 years covering everything from refugee camps in Africa to a nudist camp in Wisconsin. Most anxious moment: 10th inning in Game 7 of the 1991 World Series. Shot from 1st base dugout side. Didn't know where the game was ending but needed the shot. Most memorable story: Following two farmer/activists for two years for the AIDS In the Heartland series.

I got married to Chuck Logan, a thriller writer in 1992. We have a daughter, Sofia, born in 1995. We all went to a red-carpet movie premier in Las Vegas because Sylvester Stallone bought Chuck's book, Homefront, and turned it into a movie.
