Jean (Jeanne) Marie Richey, On Jan. 15, 2003 suddenly of heart failure. Born on October 17, 1956, in Robbinsdale, MN to Margaret and Joseph Richey. After graduating from high school, she attended St. Cloud State University in St. Cloud, MN. She did her student teaching in Las Palmas (Canary Islands) where she met her future husband, Juan Garcia. Jeanne married her true love and soul mate Juan on October 17, 1981. They lived in MN for 2 years, then they moved to Tennerife (Canary Islands) where they made their home for 19 years. Jeanne always displayed great patience with little setbacks and big problems. She comforted those around her with her amazing courage and endurance. Her life was cut tragically short, but her joyful spirit will stay with us forever in so many fond memories. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Juan; her children, Peregraina Margaret and Jeffrey Manuel; her mother and father, Margaret and Joseph; her brothers, Daniel J, John G (Judy), Michael X; and her sisters, Kathy M Wolslayer (Frank), Sharon R. Hierlmaier (Wayne); nieces & nephews, Katie, Sam & Michael Richey, Andrea & Elizabeth Wolslayer, Joey Richey, Todd, Nathan, Patrick & Ryan Hierlmaier and Augustine.
